Clubhouse Remodel

Breckenridge Golf Club will have a new look come late May 2018. The Breckenridge Town Council recently approved funding for an interior remodel of the restaurant and bar areas.

The goal of the remodel has been to create a cohesive and open concept design that marries the indoor and outdoor environments into one welcoming space.  The space will accommodate the needs of the golfers as well as year round functions and dining.  We believe the concept will make Breckenridge Golf Club more usable, marketable, and viable for small and large group outings.  The experience for guests will bring the outside in with a transition from the main indoor area flowing onto the patio deck.  With a marriage of design, flow, space, and the outdoors, we will create a balance of the famed Colorado Lifestyle in an updated, relaxed atmosphere.

The design team has reused as many elements where practical, selected green components where possible and has worked with the goal of providing a finished product the entire community will be proud of, not just golfers and skiers.

The current bar area will be totally removed and will be relocated adjacent to the kitchen. This will allow the entire club room to be an open area. The fireplace area will be redone allowing for a new modern look without encroaching on important seating space. A new meeting / private dining room has been added in the area that was the clubhouse secondary entrance (that was never used).  The furniture package has been selected based on quality materials, longevity, new trends and colors as well as flexibility for summer and winter uses / events. The interior space can accommodate 150 patrons. On the deck we will introduce new colorful soft seating areas and bar height tables near the new bar location.

The project will start late February with a completion date of May 25. The project will be funded from the Golf Enterprise Fund which currently has a fund balance of approximately $1,059,000.The project will be value engineered and will cost between $800,000 and $950,000.
