Greetings,

The 2025 golf season is officially in the books here at the Breckenridge Golf Club. It’s hard to believe how quickly the summer went by, but time flies when you’re having fun! On behalf of our staff, I would like to thank you for your continued patronage and for being a part of our mountain golf community. The BGC is very fortunate to have an incredibly talented team of golf and turfgrass professionals, who work tirelessly to provide you with the best possible service and playing conditions. We hope you enjoyed your experience at the golf course this summer!

Although the golf course is closed, there’s still a lot going on. The maintenance team is working diligently preparing the course for winter. The cart path project on the Bear is complete, and they look like new! Demolition of the front exterior stairs and ramp has begun. The run of the stairs will be extended to make wider steps, to match what we did with the stairs in the back. New barrier netting is being installed on the west side of the driving range. This will help keep balls from going into the native area and help our staff collect them more efficiently. We are very excited about all the improvements being made!

I would like to recognize and give thanks to our Golf Advisory Committee members: Jim Kelly, Tony Lord, Dan Corwin (not pictured), Heather Rosenker, Teri Day, and MJ Loufek. This committee serves as a voice for the golf community, bringing valuable feedback to the golf management team. Over the past two seasons, these committee members have made many noteworthy suggestions that our staff has implemented. Thank you for your service and productive ideas!

Moving into the winter months, I’d like to highlight that the Gold Run Nordic Center is a great place to spend time with friends and family skiing, snowshoeing, or fat biking. The golf simulator will also be open, and our golf professionals will be available to teach lessons and custom fit clubs throughout the winter.

Additionally, the Tee One restaurant will be open for business at the end of November, through the beginning of April.  Avoid the crowds in town and grab a bite to eat, play a round at Pebble Beach on the simulator, and watch your favorite sports at the bar!

From all of us at the Breckenridge Golf Club, we hope you enjoy the holiday season and winter months ahead. We look forward to another spectacular golf season in 2026.

Be well!
